INSTRUCTIONS






Project Introduction and Selection (Week 1): You began by introducing the module and selecting your topic, "Avatar Creations".  Your team, Group 8, decided to focus on "Mat Oyen" after discussions with your lecturer and other teams.

We first received a detailed introduction to the project and understood the requirements and objectives of the project. We also chose our project theme this week and decided to start creating a virtual character called "MAT OYEN". The character will take on the role of host in future episodes of the podcast.



Weeks 2 to 15: Project implementation and progress
Over the next 15 weeks, we worked on the "MAT OYEN" avatar and documented every aspect of the project in detail. The following is our specific work content:

Miro Board and Gantt Chart: We used Miro boards to collaborate and created Gantt charts to track project progress.

Questionnaire: We designed a Google form to collect opinions and preferences about avatars from more than 80 participants.

Proposal Slideshow: We used Canva to create a proposal slideshow that includes detailed information about the "MAT OYEN" avatar.

Google Drive: We built a Google Drive folder to store models and designs for virtual characters.

Background Research: We conducted extensive background research, studying similar avatars such as Replika, Seraphine, Clydeo, and Mave to understand their characteristics and success.

Insight and problem statement
Through the course of the project, we gained some important insights:

Problem Statement: We identified a key problem statement that "Fans of cats and avatars need to be entertained and informed about their lives and daily challenges because it can be difficult to get useful advice from trusted avatars."

Solution thinking: We thought about how to expand MAT OYEN's content creation to include social media engagement, live streaming, interviews, and interaction with local celebrities.

Customer journey map and promotion plan
In order to successfully promote "MAT OYEN", we created a customer journey map and promotion plan. These programs include:

Pre-launch phase: We will use Google search engine ads to drive traffic and post teasers and interesting content on social media.

Launch phase: At the official launch, we'll be rolling out "MAT OYEN's" social media posts, videos, and collaborations with other celebrities and social media influencers.

Onboarding: We plan to launch podcasts, interactive content, and live events to build deeper connections with our audiences.

Sharing phase: We will interact with local celebrities, social media influencers, participate in events and offer prizes.

Visual design and social media strategy
In order to create the brand image of "MAT OYEN", we designed detailed visual elements including color matching, logo and animation. We also created social media content, including teaser graphics, introductory posts, and interesting interactive content.
